Advice
Tips for parents and educators using this tool with young learners:
- Start with 2s, 5s, and 10s to build confidence quickly.
- Short sessions of 5 to 10 minutes a day beat one long session a week.
- Use the Apples model early to build visual intuition, then switch to Part Whole once the facts start to feel automatic.
- Celebrate effort, not just correctness. Wrong answers are where the learning happens.
- Check the Progress screen together. Seeing accuracy go up is a powerful motivator.
About
A small practice tool for multiplication and division, built to help early learners see the math instead of just memorizing it.
Apples shows a visual array. Click a number on the left pad to fill rows and columns of apples, building intuition for area-model multiplication.
Part Whole shows a grouped tape. Boxes represent equal groups so the student can reason about multiplication and division as repeated addition and sharing.
